Important Notice on Educational QuizCoins & Virtual Wallet

Dep Learn is strictly an educational learning platform. QuizCoins and wallet points earned through quiz streaks, accuracy, or unlocked via test packs are purely non-monetary virtual gamification items. They carry zero monetary cash value, cannot be redeemed for fiat currency, cannot be transferred to bank accounts or UPI IDs, and do not constitute a lottery, betting, or Real Money Gaming (RMG) in any form.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, registering, or accessing the Dep Learn mobile application or website (deplearn.com), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue using the service immediately.

2. Eligibility & Minor Consent

Dep Learn is designed for students enrolled in Class 9 and Class 10 (predominantly CBSE curriculum). If you are under 18 years of age, you affirm that you have reviewed these Terms with your parent or legal guardian and obtained their consent to register and participate in mock quizzes and AI tutoring sessions.

3. Educational Purpose & Socratic AI Guidelines

Dep Learn provides practice questions, revision summaries, and AI-powered diagnostic tutoring. While our question bank is strictly vetted against the NCERT and CBSE 2026–2027 syllabus and subsequent updates:

  • Dep Learn does not guarantee specific marks, percentile outcomes, or school board grades.
  • Our AI Tutor employs a Socratic teaching methodology intended to foster critical thinking and problem-solving, not to assist in real-time examination misconduct.
  • Users agree not to use Dep Learn in an active physical examination hall or attempt to circumvent academic honesty codes.

4. Virtual Currency (QuizCoins) & Rewards Wallet Policy

A. Grant of Limited License: QuizCoins are granted to users under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license strictly for in-app educational engagement (e.g., unlocking chapter test packs, offline formula vaults, streak freeze protection, or Pro subscription passes).

B. No Cash Surrender Value: Under no circumstances can QuizCoins or in-app wallet balances be sold, bartered, exchanged, or withdrawn for real currency, goods, or services outside of Dep Learn.

C. Non-Gambling Declaration: QuizCoins and contest prize pool distributions are awarded solely on the basis of academic effort, quiz milestones, and skill-based contest performance. No element of chance, wagering, or financial consideration is involved. Dep Learn is strictly compliant with the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act (PROGA), 2025 and does not facilitate, enable, or promote online money gaming in any form.

D. QuizCoin Display Standard: All virtual wallet balances, contest rewards, and in-app store prices are denominated exclusively in QuizCoins (QC). Any numeric value displayed alongside QC does not represent Indian Rupees (₹) or any other fiat currency — it is a virtual unit quantity only.

5. User Conduct & Prohibited Activities

Users agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Dep Learn APK or API endpoints.
  • Deploy automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or exploits to manipulate leaderboards or farm QuizCoins.
  • Circumvent or tamper with rate limiters, authentication tokens, or payment gateways.
  • Inject offensive, defamatory, or abusive queries into the AI Tutor conversational interface.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All proprietary content, brand assets, logos (“Dep Learn”), question taxonomies, software algorithms, and UI designs are the exclusive property of Dep Learn EdTech. CBSE and NCERT are registered marks of their respective statutory bodies; use of their curriculum outlines is strictly for descriptive educational alignment under fair use.

7. Termination and Account Deletion

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent bot behavior. Users may terminate their account at any time via in-app settings or through our Data Deletion Protocol.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or use of the Dep Learn platform (operated by Dep Learn EdTech) shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
